

Hartlepool Rovers Football Club, play their rugby at the New Friarage, on West View Road and have teams for all ages and abilities. They have 4 teams 1st, 2nd, 3rd and a under 17's team. Junior training sessions vary by age group.
Hartlepool Rovers were formed in 1879 and in its early days was one of the pre-eminent clubs in the country, having had many international representatives over the years including England Captains.
Hartlepool Rovers illustrious history in Northern club rugby makes it one of the most important clubs in Durham County RFU. Hartlepool Rovers hold the record for the greatest number of appearance and wins in the Durham County Senior Cup, having appeared in 70 finals, winning 45 of them. The also have an ex-captain and England International, with the most appearance for the County side, John Dee, with an impressive 90 caps.
Hartlepool Rovers is one of the founder members of the HSA and is proud to support the association, the other member clubs, and the college of FE and represent the town of Hartlepool.
