"Hartlepool RFC, or 'Old Boys' as they are more commonly known, are a well established rugby union club formed in 1893. Steeped in over a century of history, the club has a traditional feel but with some of the best facilities in the North of England. The new club bar was opened in April 2011.

The Mayfield Park home is extremely welcoming and they pride themselves on maintaining a fantastic social atmosphere; a real family orientated club. With 2 seniors sides, occasional veterans side and 5 junior places.
