The Basketball Academies at HCFE where established in 2009 with Football as the first of the colleges sports academies. With a successful first year in local, regional and national competitions the Basketball Academies at HCFE have put the college on the Basketball map. With Lee Davie as Head Coach the Basketball Academies development each student athlete both on and off the court.

With the Headland Sports Centre, Hartlepool, as their home the academies have state of the art sports hall and fitness suite facilities to develop their skills.

Each year the best 12 - 15 student athletes will be selected for each Basketball academy. These members will then benefit from 8 - 10 hours coaching per week, athlete support, regional and national competition and individual development plans.

To join our Basketball academy please complete both of the steps below. Once both steps are complete please hand them in at the College reception. Once we have processed your application one of the team will be in contact.
